The Creative Works of Lori Gloyd..and other things
I was driving to work yesterday and pulled over to take this amazing sunrise image. I did not manipulate the color on this photo in anyway. It is as it was. I couldn’t help the rhyme running through my head: “Red sky at night, sailors’ delight; red sky in morning, sailors’ take warning.” It did, however, turn out to be a very beautiful and bright autumn day.

Wow! You must leave for work pretty early! This is a stunning photo, Lori. It’s not often there is so much red in the sky. Of course, I’m not really an expert at sunrises…Sunsets suit me best.

In the UK we always used to say “red sky at night shepherds’ delight, red sky in the morning shepherds’ warning”. Strange how these sayings mutate. It’s a stunning sunrise shot.
